Espen received his degree as a psychologist at the University of Oslo, Norway. He has 7 years of experience within the field of business psychology. Espen has, like Rudi, been working in SHL, in which his last position within SHL was as consultant manager. Before starting his career in SHL, he worked as a psychologist in the military, with a main focus on crisis psychology.

Espen’s main areas of expertise are competency modelling, assessment centre methodology, as well as culture and climate within organizations. Additionally, he posits a lot of experience within the areas of selection and management development.  

Espen is partner in cut-e norway, as well as being the chairman.

Espen has lectured both in the Executive Masterprogram “Interplay and management” at the Norwegian school of management, BI, and at the University of Oslo. He is the editor of the Scandinavian Journal of Organisational Psychology, and the author of the book “The right person at the right place”, being published in Spring 2008.
In cut-e norway, Espen is particularly responsible for the use of the mapping methodology within the field of organizational culture and climate.
